WORKSHOP: Trent Pancy - Play The Game Chicago Style Improvisation
Does scenework stress you out? Do you find yourself in your head? Do you dwell on tying everything together and making sure it all goes well? In this workshop we will learn how to find the “game” of the scene quickly and start effectively playing that game to its height. The game can be anything from repetition to character matching to silence. Sometimes the game is obvious, sometimes it is hidden, and sometimes we can create it out of thin air. Finding and playing the game will breathe new life into your scenework, making it more fun to watch, and, more importantly, making it more fun to be in!
